Pre-Filter
The Pre-Filter with its pore size of 5 microns removes all the sediments, dust and other residual particles from water. This prevents the RO membrane and other filters from damage by large particles.
Sediment Filter
The Sediment Filter with its pore size of 5 microns removes turbidity, sediments and sand particles. It acts as a double protection along with Pre-Filter against large particles.
Activated Carbon Filter
The Activated Carbon Filter removes chlorine, smell, odour and other organic material from water by the adsorption process. Chlorine removal is very important at this stage as chlorine damages the RO Membrane.
NF Membrane
The NF (Nano filtration) membrane removes dissolved as well as colloidal particles, bacteria and viruses, and heavy metals from water. It has a pore size that is between RO and UF membrane.
UV Sterilisation System
The UV Sterilisation system disinfects the water by sterilising it with a UV lamp, thus killing any residual bacteria left from the previous filtration processes.
Alkaline Mineralisation
The RO membrane along with the impurities also removes the good and essential minerals from water. The alkaline module re-mineralises the water with alkaline essential minerals like calcium, magnesium, potassium, copper etc. Thus, this alkaline RO filter enhances the pH of the water to 8.5, making it healthy along with pure.
